I apologize for not posting in a long time! I have been very busy with school :/ I will be posting my recipe for the apple pie soon since it was requested, and if requested I am happy to post the recipe for the pumpkin pasta that I just posted:)

Also I wanted to ask if anyone knew of a different blog site that is better for a cooking blog. I know tumblr is more about pictures then writing, so I want another blog site where I can write about my experiences cooking as well as show pictures! Ideas welcome please!

Thanks:)

Peach apple pie! Gluten free egg free and dairy free of course:) and with only 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar and 1/4 cup honey you don’t have to worry about having to much refined sugar with this dessert

what is the recipe for those crackers? they look yummy! oh hi i'm jennie, gluten free, corn free, fructose free, peanut free vegan!

Thanks:) glad you thought they looked good! And I just posted the recipe in response to twistedtofu and it is gluten, corn, and peanut free! Except I’m not really sure about fructose.. what exactly has fructose in it? Im luckily not allergic to it so I haven’t really studied much about it yet. But I am interested in opening an allergy friendly restaurant someday and I want to learn about all different food diets so I can make some different dishes for different diets!

Do you have a recipe for the crackers you made for your party? They look yummy!

Glad you liked the picture! and yup the recipes are from these two websites:

http://myfieldsofgreen.blogspot.com/2011/10/homemade-gluten-free-cheez-it-crackers.html

some things I changed for the cheez-it recipe is I used cheddar style daiya cheese instead of real cheese, I used soy free earth balance margarine instead of butter, and I also used potato starch intead of corn starch because of my moms corn sensitivity. I also sprinkled coarse salt on top.. you don’t need to much though because daiya cheese is already salty tasting!

And here is the recipe for the plain salted crackers:

The only change in this one was once again I used soy free margarine instead of butter.

I have to say the cheez-it crackers turned out amazing we all ate them all up very quickly… however the other crackers were kind of dry in my opinion but some people who tried them loved them so they are definitely worth a try!

Gluten free vegan crackers I made and served at my wine and fake cheese party! The orange ones are fake cheeze-it style crackers and the other ones are just a plain salted cracker

I made vegan soy free cheeses! I made a almond, walnut, and cashew cheese! This was the platter from the wine and fake cheese party I had :) I’ll post the pictures of the homemade crackers I served next!

Note to all gluten free bakers.. if you ever spill a large amount of xanthan gum do not try to wipe it up with a wet sponge or towel… use something dry! liquid with xanthan gum forms a very sticky glue texture that makes it impossible to clean up off counters or floors!!!
